I will write a list of some of the best sites in India

1. Naukri.com - its undoubtedly the number 1 job site in India with the largest resume database. And its a pioneer I mean these are the people who started job sites in India.

2. MonsterIndia.com - i have met a large number of recruiters and who so ever I have spoken with they have told me that Monster is very easy to use and very user friendly. Recruiters especially enjoy its resume search service.

3. TimesJobs.com - this site is also in existence since quite a long time. Though till date I haven't met a single person who appreciates this site. I mean in my experience I haven't any recruiter who appreciates this site. I am of the opinion the only reason this site is working is because of its holding company, the largest english newspaper in India. Times Of India.

4. Shine.com - this site is pretty new in the Indian job market. But seems to have a lot of potential. It has a strong backing too, Hindustan Times - another newspaper conglomerate is backing it.

Now all the four sites I listed are the major ones and all of it are listed with stock exchange. So you can imagine the backing they have.

Now I will focus on sites which are not as huge as these but are working well too.

5. FreshersWorld - is another site which has a recent tie-up with one of the largest job aggregators in the world. And this site is not backed by any major corporation, its a small site but is doing pretty well.

6. Jobspert.com - this is again a very small but effective site. The innovative part of this site is their free resume search option, wherein you can make a search for resume on their site without registration (yes, you heard it right, without registration) and if you like the c.v.'s then you can proceed with the registration. And yes they pretty good collection of jobs in india and its various cities and town.
